Library

Welcome to the Montroyal Library, a warm and welcoming space where students can read, explore, create and discover new ideas.

Our library collection includes a wide variety of fiction, non-fiction, picture books and learning resources selected to support student interests, classroom learning and a lifelong love of reading. We strive to offer a diverse and inclusive collection in which students can see themselves, their communities and a range of perspectives represented.

Classes visit the library regularly throughout the school year. During these visits, students may participate in read-alouds, book exchanges, research activities and lessons that support literacy, inquiry and digital citizenship.

Students are encouraged to take care of borrowed materials and return books regularly so that everyone can enjoy the collection.
